CCE 2015 Pesticide Training and Recertification Series

February 2 - March 2, 2015


The Core Pesticide Training Program Series in Ontario County is for the person who needs to acquire the knowledge to be able to take the Pesticide Core exam for a license to apply pesticides. Also this is for certified applicators, private or commercial, seeking re certification credits.

2015 Pesticide Training and re certification classes will be offered February 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2015

The NYSDEC Pesticide and Recertification Exam will be offered on March 2, 2015.Private Certification is for the person who will be applying restricted pesticides to their own property or an employer's property or rented property.

Private Certification available:

Field and Forage (Category 21)
Fruit (Category 22)
Vegetable (Category 23)
Greenhouse and Florist (Category 24)
Nursery, Ornamental and Turf (Category 25)

Commercial Certification is for the person who will be applying pesticides for hire. Commercial Certification available:

Agriculture Plant (Category 1a)
Ornamental and Turf (Category 3)
Audience/Registration

This is NOT a 30 hour credit class. Required for those who do not meet DEC eligibility requirements for commercial certification.

Cost: $150.00 includes training manuals and attendance at all four classes.
$100.00 DEC exam fee, due the evening of the exam. Check made payable to: NYSDEC.

Certified applicators, private or commercial, seeking recertification credits will receive 2.5 core credits per class. Cost: $25.00/person/class.
